The situation
Trafficcino helps small and mid-sized brands sell on several marketplaces at once, watch their sales in real time and run ad campaigns from one dashboard. Nothing quite like it existed yet, so there was no competitor site to point people to. The ads and the website had to explain the product on their own, to sellers who aren’t technical and don’t have an afternoon to figure it out.
What I did
I was the only designer on it and took everything: brand, ad creatives, marketing site, research and the product. Someone who saw an ad, then the website, then the dashboard after a demo saw one company the whole way, with the same look and the same promise.
In the product, the part that mattered most was the landing page builder. A seller builds a page for their store in three steps, with a live preview on half the screen, so they watch the page change as they fill it in. Getting from signup to a published page takes a few minutes.
What came out of it
Brand, site and product went out together in 12 weeks. The ad campaigns brought in 190 demo requests. Later the work won six design awards and a UX Design Awards nomination.
The team got one visual system across ads, site and product.
190 / demo requests from ads
12 weeks / brand, site and product
6 / design awards
Trafficcino is a fairly complex product, and it was important for us to make it easy for users to understand. Sergei took care of the entire design, from the logo and visual identity to the website, presentation, and product itself. The result was a consistent visual language across the whole product, with even the more complex features presented in a simple and intuitive way.
